Guizhou Construction Group: Spring Returns as School Season Begins—Warmly Supporting Early Childhood Education

Winter break, filled with the joyful festivities of the Spring Festival, has come to an end, and kindergartens, middle schools, and elementary schools across Guizhou are gradually reopening their doors. Children, brimming with dreams, step into this new semester—ready for fresh beginnings, renewed energy, and ambitious goals on their exciting journey ahead. On March 2nd, at the central kindergarten in Zerong Town, Xingyi City, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, an inspiring initiative titled "Spring Again: School Season Brings Warmth to Early Childhood Education," spearheaded by Guizhou JianGong Group’s Fifth Company’s Qianxinan Branch, Guizhou EnFang Engineering Construction Consulting Co., Ltd., and Dacheng Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., sparked a heartwarming wave of charitable giving and kindness.

As kindergartens, middle schools, and elementary schools across Guizhou province reopen one after another, children step into their new semester brimming with dreams, ready for fresh beginnings, ambitious goals, and exciting new journeys ahead.

On March 2, the "Springtime Reunion: Kindergarten Teachers Receive Warmth and Care" event—initiated by Guizhou JianGong Group’s Fifth Company, Qianxinan Branch, Guizhou EnFang Engineering Construction Consulting Co., Ltd., and Dacheng Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd.—kicked off a heartwarming wave of charitable donations and acts of kindness at the central kindergarten in Zerong Town, Xingyi City, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province.
"‘It takes ten years to grow a tree, but a hundred years to nurture a person; building careers and strengthening the nation—education is the foundation.’ Early childhood education is a vital component of China’s foundational education system. At Company Five, we are deeply committed to nurturing young minds, creating a healthy and supportive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. Improving the dormitory facilities at Xingyi City’s Zerong Town Central Kindergarten is not just our corporate responsibility—it’s a heartfelt mission to ensure every child has access to a comfortable, safe space to rest, study, and grow in happiness and warmth." This was stated by Zhang Qingsong, head of the Qiandongnan Branch of Guizhou Construction Group’s Company Five, during the charity event.
During the event, Chen Zhiyu, Chairman of the Trade Union of Guizhou Construction Group’s Fifth Company, led representatives from various participating units in making on-site donations. Li Yong, Principal of Xingyi City Zerong Town Central School, and Zhang Qi, Head of the kindergarten, accepted the donations on behalf of their respective institutions.
On that day, Chen Zhiyu and other caring enterprises jointly stated: "We will continue to pay long-term attention to the learning environment and the growth of children at the Central Kindergarten in Zerong Town, Xingyi City. At the same time, we hope the children can turn our care and society's concern into motivation for their studies—focusing wholeheartedly on learning and working hard—so that one day they can achieve success and contribute to building their own hometown and repaying our great motherland."
At the charity event, Zhou Guanglin, Director of the Education Supervision Office of the Xingyi Municipal People's Government and a member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Education Bureau, along with Xu Jun, Member of the Zerong Town Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Congress, represented the school in expressing gratitude to the representatives of the donating enterprises and presented them with certificates of appreciation.

Chen Zhiyu stated that, as a socially responsible enterprise, Company Five has always paid close attention to public welfare initiatives, firmly committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities, and actively leveraged the company’s appeal and influence. While creating value for the business, it continuously gives back to society, enthusiastically participating in community-driven charitable activities. Ultimately, the company remains deeply rooted in the market, boldly takes on its responsibilities, and remains grateful—and committed—to giving back to the communities that have supported its growth.
During the day's charitable event, a caring enterprise donated 250 sets of children’s bedding worth 53,700 yuan to Zerong Town Central Kindergarten on-site. They also pledged to continue providing additional supplies—such as floating flooring, turf, and outdoor play equipment—valued at over 30,000 yuan in the future. (Feng Yipei)
